Pathetic Prank on Cesc
Barcelona blog at theoffside apologizes for their players’ stupid act on Cesc. Credits to the author for showing its sympathy towards gooners.
But, this is plain ridiculous. How many times we have made them clear Fabregas is not for sale? It doesn’t matter whether you play a beautiful football from another planet or you wear a UNESCO shirt.
Barca, morally (or perhaps financially) bankrupt team lacked serious class in these dealings. Sickening.
Messi on Theo

Whatever. Both of you guys are already out of this world cup. Now, stop luring Cesc to Barca!!
Messi:
I must say that at the time I thought it was a bad decision to leave Theo Walcott at home. And I think that has been proved right. I can only speak from experience but he was one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against.
Barcelona players are not scared easily but I can tell you that when we played Arsenal last season he truly worried us…Theo came on and changed the game. He pretty much single-handedly salvaged a draw against Barcelona that night. Even in the return leg our manager Pep Guardiola was telling us he was the player to watch out for…The truth is that he really rattled us.
If he could do that against Barcelona, think what he could have done against Germany and Algeria.
More Thoughts on England's Failure
Just for your record. It’s hilarious when BBC/Sky Sports just shut up and stop their hype machines. But sincerely, I do hope players like Jack Wilshere will save Three Lions from further embarrassment in 2014.

Nevertheless, the row about the goal that wasn’t will do nothing but take away from the real issue which is that England were fucking shit. We’ll hear this and that about foreign players and foreign managers but it all boils down to the same problem that football in these islands has had for years - foreign players are far, far better technically. They learn a different game as kids, they’re not stuck on a full sized 11-a-side pitch at 9 years of age and told that passion and spirit are what will win games. They learn to pass, control the ball, move off the ball, retain possession, slow things down and not do everything at 100mph. Technical ability counts at this level, having players who don’t think they’re the best in the world is a good thing too. The BBC commentator who said “You look at this German team and think about who would get in the England team and you have maybe 1 player” summed it all up. I mean, seriously. How about 11?
